Em Sherif is the product of Mireille Hayek and Chef Yasmina Hayek’s culinary genius. Mireille Hayek, affectionately known as “Em Sherif,” is the visionary whose culinary journey began in 2006 when she opened her first restaurant, La Parilla in Beirut, followed by Yasmina, a fine Indian fusion restaurant named after her daughter, in 2009. In 2011, she launched Em Sherif, a fine-dining Lebanese restaurant that reinterprets time-honored recipes with a refined touch. Her daughter, Chef Yasmina Hayek, serves as the Executive Head Chef of the Em Sherif Group.
